Untiled Gallery was opened last year in Sofia. The young gallerist Kail Mueller from Berlin and Teodora Kotseva prepared a new programme for 2024 of eight curated exhibitions. “Bridging Borders” focuses on the presentation of Bulgarian contemporary artists in Bulgaria and abroad. At the same time the gallery invites artists from Southeast Europe and the Balkan. The programme started in April with the exhibition CARPE (t) Diem, showing tapestry work by five Bulgarian artists.
The second exhibition in the framework of the programme, on show in May/June is by the Greek artist Maria Velisioti. Moment of Space. It’s the artists interpretation of locations with incomprehensible phenomena. Veliositi’ s practice involves intensive study of reports and testaments of witnesses of these abnormal areas.
