The Z-S Foundation has provided support for the group show “Before the Mirror” – a group exhibition shown at the +359 Gallery (the Water Tower) in Sofia https://plus359gallery.com/en/2026/04/15/before-the-mirror/
It brings together eleven artists from different generations, among whom are Pravdoliub Ivanov, Mariela Gemisheva, Sophia Grancharova, Nevelin Ivanov, Bilyana Tokmakchieva, Filip Boyadjiev, Ina Dobreva, Yves-Christian Angelov, Stodara, Viktor Antonov, Kyril Buhowski. Curator: Gergana Minkova.
The exhibition explores the fluid nature of identity and what this means for contemporary societies. The project gives new opportunities for younger artists to show alongside more established authors fostering intergenerational connections between artists and audiences. The Ilvida foundation plans to show the project abroad in 2027 with support from the Singer-Zahariev Foundation.
